Sorting and disposal of household garbage　家庭ゴミの出し方

Garbage disposal in Japan may seem very complicated, since the separation of garbage by type and the days on which it can be thrown away are very strictly regulated and vary greatly from municipality to municipality. However, we ask your cooperation in following the rules in order to promote a sustainable society and to build good relationships with the neighbors in your community.

Matsudo City Hall distributes leaflet and guidebook for sorting and disposing garbage in foreign languages (English, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese). As well as free apps(PDF:298KB) on sorting and garbage collection calendar. The leaflet guide and guidebook are available at the Matsudo City Hall - Environmental Management Div. and on webwsite.
NOTE:

Please sort your garbage properly, be sure to follow the rules on the proper location and day of the week for collection, and dispose of items at a collection site by 8:30 am on the designated collection day.

日本でのごみの捨て方は、種類による分別や捨てられる日がとても細かく決められていて、自治体ごとでも大きく異なるため、難しく感じられるかもしれませんが、持続可能な社会を推進するため、そして地域の住民との良好な関係のため、ルールを守るご協力をお願いしています。
松戸市役所では、 外国語版（英語・中国語・韓国語・ベトナム語）のゴミの分別・出し方のリーフレット と ガイドブック を、松戸市役所環境業務課と各支所にて配布しています。（ダウンロード）　
注意:

ごみは正しく分別し、決められた曜日・場所に、収集日の朝8時半までに捨てるようにしてください。

From April 1st 2018, paper bags can no longer be used for the disposal of burnable garbage.
Please use the plastic bags authorized by Matsudo City.
松戸市指定の燃やせるごみ用の紙袋は、2018年4月1日をもって廃止されました。燃えるごみは、必ず松戸市指定の燃やせるごみ用ビニール袋で排出してください。
