Animations and cartoons promoting town councils and neighborhood associations were created in cooperation with the "Dekiru Machi Project"! / 「できる街プロジェクト」との協働事業により「町会・自治会PRアニメ・漫画」の制作がスタートしました
As part of an effort to promote membership in town councils and neighborhood associations, the Matsudo City Citizen Autonomy Division and the citizen public interest organization, “Dekiru Machi Project (The Project of Wish Realization)” have collaborated to produce an animation and comic promoting town councils and neighborhood associations.
“Matsukame” and ‘Jichimaru,’ Matsudo City's town council/neighborhood association PR characters, introduce various activities related to town councils/neighborhood associations! More videos will be released in the future.
Characters
Jichimaru
Jichimaru: A young resident new to Matsudo. With his iconic seashell on his head, he is a first-year business worker. He will learn about neighborhood associations from Matsukame, and participate in various activities.
Matsukame
Matsukame: A head of a neighborhood association in an area in Matsudo. The azalea on her head is the Matsudo city flower. When she spreads out her arms and legs, the silhouette is the same as that of Matsudo City!

How to join a town council/neighborhood association?
Please ask the chairman of your local town council/neighborhood association or a board member of the association.
If you do not know who to contact, or the contact information of your town council/neighborhood association, we can provide you with the information at the Citizen Autonomy Division of the Matsudo City Hall or at a nearby branch office (excluding the Municipal Service Center in Atre Matsudo).
If you cannot to come to the City Hall or branch office in person, you can also request for the information of your town council/neighborhood association chairperson online.
Please use one of the following links (Matsudo City Online Application System or Chiba e-Application Service) to apply.
Matsudo City Online Application System (町会・自治会等代表者連絡先提供申請)
You need to register as a user to apply via the Matsudo City Online Application System. The application response will be made within the Matsudo City Online Application System.
Chiba e-Application Service (町会・自治会等の連絡先の提供申請)
For applications submitted through the Chiba e-Application Service, the contact information of the town council/neighborhood association chairperson will be sent to the e-mail address provided in the application form.
