I am a big fan of digital media. I listen to a news podcast every morning, follow the headlines online, and do a lot of reading on a tablet. However, there is still nothing quite like perusing an actual newspaper. And Matsudo’s newest print media, the MATSUDO PAPER, has got me feeling nostalgic.
MATSUDO PAPER is a free lifestyle newspaper produced by a local designer in collaboration with Matsudo City. The inaugural issue is an autumn feast, filled with local wisdom and enticing photography. And as if these fresh local insights didn’t already have me hooked, the paper is even bilingual. What a treat!
Keep an eye out for MATSUDO PAPER’s seasonal releases, available from the Culture, Tourism & International Division office and in the newspaper racks at train stations across Matsudo.

私はデジタル・メディアの大ファンです。毎朝ポッドキャストでニュースを聴いたり、オンラインで新聞の見出しに目を通したり、タブレットで読んだりすることも多いです。しかし、松戸の最新情報紙「MATSUDO PAPER」を見た瞬間、実際に新聞を手で持つことはどんな物にも代えがたいと、懐かしく思い始めました。
「MATSUDO PAPER」は、松戸市民のデザイナーが、松戸市とのコラボでプロデュースしたフリーペーパーです。創刊号は、秋のごちそうとして地元の英知と魅力的な写真でいっぱいです。それだけでも注意を十分引きますが、バイリンガルであることはさらにもっと印象的です。すばらしいでしょう！
「MATSUDO PAPER」は文化観光国際課の窓口と市内駅の新聞ラック等で手に入れることができます。季節ごとの発行を期待してくださいね。
