松戸市×ドミニカ共和国コンスタンサ市パートナーシップ協定締結1周年記念イベント
令和4年11月30日のパートナーシップ協定締結の1周年を記念して、ドミニカ共和国産カカオを使用して市内協力店で「オリジナルスイーツ」を発売しています。今年の3月同様、株式会社明治より「明治ザ・カカオプロフェッショナルズスパイシーフルーツ」の無償提供を受け、前回に続きオリジナルスイーツの発売が実現しました。シナモンの木のようなスパイシーな香り、干しブドウのような凝縮味を感じさせる果実の香りが特徴のドミニカ共和国産カカオの味をぜひお試しください。

松戸市は、平成27年より、ドミニカ共和国と東京オリンピック・パラリンピックのホストタウン交流事業、及び、同国コンスタンサ市で松戸市の特産品の梨を栽培するための技術支援事業を実施していて、令和4年11月30日、同国コンスタンサ市とパートナーシップ協定を締結したんだよ！
「農業・スポーツ・教育・文化・環境」の5分野で連携を強化することを約束をしたパートナーシップ協定。本年度は梨栽培支援の一環でドミニカ共和国から農地庁長官や研修生が来松して本邦研修を行い、梨に関する知識を深めました。今後は両市の大学間の連携や市民交流、SDGsに関する取り組みも行っていくよ！

Matsudominican Collaboration! Celebratory Event for the 1-Year Anniversary of Constanza, Dominican Republic and Matsudo City’s Partnership Pact
In Celebration of the Partnership Pact that was signed on November 30th, 2022, collaborating shops within Matsudo City are selling “original sweets” made using cacao from the Dominican Republic. Similar to the event earlier this year in March when Meiji Co., Ltd. provided “Meiji THE Cacao PROFESSIONALS Spicy Fruit” to our shops free of charge, the sale of original sweets has been realized once again. We hope you will try the taste of cacao from the Dominican Republic, which is known for having an aroma that can be described as similar to that of both spicy cinnamon wood and dried grape.

Matsudo City’s relationship with the Dominican started in 2015 with the implementation of a host town exchange program with the Dominican Republic for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, and our relations continued with a technical assistance program for the cultivation of Matsudo City’s specialty pears in Constanza, Dominican Republic. Matsudo City then concluded a partnership pact with Constanza on November 30, 2022!
The partnership pact promises to strengthen cooperation in the following five areas of focus: agriculture, sports, education, culture, and environmental initiatives. This year, as part of our support for pear cultivation, the director of the Dominican Agricultural Institute and trainees from the Dominican Republic came to Matsudo to conduct training in Japan and deepen their knowledge about Japanese pears. In the future, we will also work on cooperation between universities in both cities, citizen exchange, and initiatives related to the SDGs!
